Bio
Alessia Monaco is a PhD student enrolled in the National PhD program in Artificial Intelligence, XXXIX cycle, course on Health and life sciences, organized by Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. She is currently based at the University of Bari, Department of Computer Science. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2018) and a master’s degree in Work Psychology (2020). She is certified to practice as a Psychologist. Before her doctorate studies, she worked as a Research Fellow in General Psychology (2023).
Her current research activities focus on the application of AI tools in Neurodegenerative Diseases, particularly behavioral biometrics in medical contexts. Her interdisciplinary approach combines her expertise in psychology with advanced AI techniques to provide innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
