Graduated in Computer Science with honors, she’s currently in the process of getting a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity. In the meanwhile, she’s been working for the university spin-off Digital Innovation S.r.l., which has given her the opportunity to operate in several domains and collaborate with professors, researchers and PhD students: some examples are the application of deep learning and behavioural analysis techniques to Web sites in order to increase user satisfaction; design and implementation of microservices-oriented architectures for various purposes. More, she’s actively participated and given her support in several Cybersecurity-related areas: she’s been working and studying the phenomenon of data poisoning attacks on deep learning algorithms, which is also the focus of her Master’s degree thesis. Moreover, she’s given her contribution to a project funded by European Union and Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, namely “CTE CALLIOPE” (“Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti CALLIOPE per il One Health”) by contributing to the design and development of a cross-platform system aiming to monitor the interactions between humans and their surroundings safety-wise; i.e. tracking and correlation of one’s environmental exposure (e.g. air pollutants), physical activity and nutrition through AI and non-AI algorithms. Similarly, she’s also had the chance to contribute to the realisation of framework operating in urban settings with the purpose of detecting violence and criminal episodes. In addition, she holds the position of tutor in the Artificial Intelligence laboratory for a PNRR project, namely “I talenti nascosti”, whose goal is to broaden high schoolers’ knowledge.
