Bio
Tonino Palmisano is a research fellow at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro,” specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and blockchain technologies. His current work focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction in e-commerce systems using advanced AI methodologies. He has a strong background in cybersecurity, contributing significantly to projects aimed at developing robust security solutions.
Palmisano has extensive experience teaching AI and emerging technologies, including blockchain and smart contracts. He has delivered courses on LLMs and digital transformation strategies for businesses. In the industry, he has served as a senior IT consultant, developing and enhancing software systems for companies like Enel Energia and Birra Peroni.
An active member of the scientific community, Palmisano is on the editorial board of “Advances in Blockchain & Cryptocurrency. His research publications include works on blockchain and anomaly detection in network security data.
